Founded in 1982, Bayer Built Woodworks, Inc. is a two-step distributor of millwork that sells primarily to building product retailers in the Belgrade, Minnesota area. Their services expanded to providing pre-hung and made-to-order doors that can be delivered the next day thanks to their own Bayer Trucking business which takes care of all their deliverables.
While Bayer Built Woodworks' existing e-commerce website provided customers with access to their different products and services online, the company required a system that would give clients a secure way to manage their online transactions and account information. Aside from being easy to use, it needed to display real-time information whenever their customers logged into the website.
Builderwire's improved IBOS My Account module was integrated with Bayer Built's website allowing the company to set up an account system that provides their customers with 24/7 access to important accounting data and balance details. Accessible information includes all invoices, open orders and statements. Both current and historical data can be seen giving customers added manageability when it comes to organizing their accounts. All documents can even be converted to Adobe PDF or Microsoft Excel format for downloading to their computers.
The My Account system also gives customers the ability to manage their profile settings. Changes can be made to their personal details such as their first name, last name and email address. The user profile page also gives them the capability to change their passwords if needed.
