Liberty Cedar has been in business for more than 25 years, supplying residents of South County, Rhode Island with the finest interior and exterior wood materials. From wood flooring to paneling and trims, Liberty Cedar has been responsible for building and maintaining the beautiful homes and buildings located throughout New England.
With multiple store locations around the country, Liberty Cedar wanted to provide its customers with a singular web storefront that would give them real-time access to their complete product line regardless of time or location. The company also wanted added security for registration and checkout to ensure that any information provided by their customers will not be compromised.
To address these concerns, Builderwire developed a manageable web storefront system that gives Liberty Cedar the capabilities to create and manage an online storefront catalog while providing customers with all-day access to important account information. The new product catalog comes with content editing features that lets Liberty Cedar update their products and categories including the ability to add product images, descriptions and specifications.
A new checkout process was built into the website that allows non-registered or "guest" users to request for a quote. This added flexibility in accepting both registered and non-registered users allows the company to reach out to more people looking to do business with them while also building on their existing customer base.
A secure login feature was also added to Liberty Cedar’s new website. Combined with Trustwave's security gateway, customers are assured that all information provided from their login details to other customer information are kept secure at all times.
